A Call to Patriotic Duty

A Call to Patriotic Duty
"In the Cause of Liberty"

There Comes A Time; In The Struggles Of A Nation Or Of A State, When The People Must Call Upon Each Brother And Sister; In The Righteous Fight For Freedom, Liberty, Fairness In Practice & Equality of Law. To Act Upon A Patriotic Call, To Preserve The Rights of All People for The Greater Good of the Whole. When The People, Acting in Good Faith & Under The Restrictions Provided In The Constitution(s) They Are Sworn To Live By; & Furthermore, Are Specified in "The Simple Inherent Rights Of The People" of The State & of the Several States in the Union; Are Bound Together, To Be Heard As One Voice - Demanding It Be Delivered Unto Them, As is So Constituted By Them, For Them & To Them, in a Self-governing Republic.

Whereas; In This Republic, No Authority is Greater then the Authority of the People, & that Any duly delegated Provisions of Authority or Powers by the People onto the Government; Are Subject to Revocation, of same, By The People.

Did Not, Our Founding Fathers, of which there is a great list; Forsake Self-indulgence & Individual Wealth; Even To Pledge Their Lives & Limb, Individual Liberties, and All manner of Personal Profit - in Donation to The Cause & Principles That Make Us Freemen? Many Such Great Patriots have been enshrined in our ‘Halls of Fame and Honor‘, for selfless sacrifice and dedication in the ‘Cause of Liberty’, and in our monuments of battles for the shedding of blood. What legacy, dare it be asked, will this generation leave for the inheritance of following generations? Did we stand tall against tyranny and the abominations placed upon our Constitutional Republic? Did we answer the Call and heed the Warnings so well witnessed? Were we Patriots At Heart And in Deed, or in Name Alone?

I May Recall, For You, The Names Of But A Few, "True First Patriots" of the State and the Union of the Several States, being; Stephen F. Austin, Samuel Houston, Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Arthur St. Clair, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Paine, Patrick Henry. To name but a few. I Could Go On ,with the naming of such Great Men - True Patriots All of Them. But, you too - Knowing Our Histories, & more names, The Idea & Meaning is clear to you. Some Few Men of Great Moral Character, Steadfast Strength of Will and With Sound Leadership; At Great Risk of Being Branded as ‘Treasonous Traitors’ Under An Unfit Government, Instead Became ‘Patriots of Cause’ - Did Set Out Upon A Treacherous Endeavor; That, To Self Determine A Nation’s Freedom, Securing the Blessings of Liberty, Establish Justice, Insure Domestic Tranquility, Provide for the Common Defense, Promote the General Welfare, and our Posterity, By Establishing A Government For The People - By The People - Of The People.

It Is With Our Humblest Gratitude & Great Respect; We Owe Such Men of Liberty a Great Debt, for the Blessings of Liberty & The Creation of A Constitutional Republic. With Institutions of Democracy & Freedom, coupled with Certain Inalienable Individual Rights & Being Self Governed By The People. So, That The People Do Determine the Path of Our Nation and states & Effect the Decisions of Government, Not the Reverse Thereof. To Avoid the Picking Up Of the ‘Quills of Petition’ Against All Harms To The Constitution & The Peoples’ Liberty, Is to Ignore Our Patriotic Duty, Even When at Risk is Our Own Individual Liberty - and Should be Cause that Our Inheritance Be Forfeit. That Inheritance being, the Freedom & Liberties Which Good Patriots have Fought For & Secured. We have such Rights & Liberties of Speech & Writing, of Peaceable Gatherings to Coordinate, Plan & Demonstrate or Petition As We May feel Necessary, Thus Ensuring we Be Heard, yet Not Resorting to Sword or Arms as those before us found it necessary to do. Yet, not to Forsaking the Right to Keep& Bear Arms.

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, - and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." Thomas Jefferson

"From Time to Time it is necessary, For The People to Take Such Actions, as may be appropriate and correct, against the government. So That They may Alter The Path of a State, or the Union thereof, & Redirect It. To Fit The Will of The People, & Not The Necessity or Ill Conceived Convenience of a Government, or The Enrichment of Some Few and the suffering of many. When That Government is Conceived & Provided to Serve This People, for the Greater Good Of all of The State, or a Union Thereof, there is no better Institution. We Say That Now The Time Has Come Upon Us, To Reach Out & Reclaim That Which Is Our Sovereign Right to Have; To Retake the Steering of Our State & Our Union of the Several States‘ Destiny. To Discover Anew, the Dream from Which The Union Of The Several States and Individual States, was first Envisioned in the Concepts of Our Forefathers. To hold dear to us, the light of the torch, that the Dream Lives On, and so too, shall the Republic Live On."

April 9, 1832, Stephen F. Austin wrote, "Some men in the world hold the doctrine that it is degrading and corrupt to use policy in anything.... There is no degradation in prudence and a well tempered and well timed moderation.," when speaking of men who would rush to conflict before negotiations or diplomacy had failed, and or consider him too conciliatory.

We Say, That of Late; The People have Witnessed, Ill Conceived Government Policies & Corrupted Intentions, of Some Many Officers of Government, for purposes of Self Fulfillment & Influence, & Not In Good Faith Service To The Constitution They Swear or Affirm To Uphold. Wherein Such Leadership, as may be provided us, has failed to Protect the Constitution from abominations, and therefore, also Fails the People it is sworn to Serve and to Protect.

Whereas; The Worst Vagary of Leadership is; That in the Action in Unwarranted Wars, Which fails to Be of Continued Service to The Union of the Several States or of a Single State, & That The People have Spoke Against it, in Joint Opposition. Yet Even Now, Falls Upon a ‘Kings’ Deaf Ears, & his minions who are of similar minds. That This State, Also Having Heard the Voices In Opposition, Fails to Petition The President of the Several States; Through Our Governor and Legislature, In a Joint Resolution for Redress of Such Immoral Conduct. We the People, Find The Governance of the State of Texas, Lacking In It’s Responsibility to The Electorate, who have placed such Trust and Faith in Their Honorable Service, & are Left Wanting.

In that the Congress; of the Union of the Several States, does continue to dally and make Politics on Mattes of War, While Also Not Fettering ‘His’ Hand in Serious Nature of State Matters. Whereas; That a Secretive Collation Exist Between the Union of the Several States and of Some Fewer States, Select Business Enterprises & Even Acting Covertly With Foreign Governments - In Unison, but not as The Whole Union of States, & in Secret; for the Creation of a Trans-Union-Corridor that shall Become An International Super-Highway Supporting the North American Free Trade Agreement, & Without a Full Understanding or Consent of the People as a Whole. Yet, Not Funded By The Union’s Tax Revenues, but by the Individual States Concerned, & without full support of People of the State of Texas. Whereas In Past Histories, Federal & National Roadways Are the Responsibility of The Union of the Several States jointly; to Manufacture, Maintain & Fund as a Duty of Commerce; Transportation and Postal Roadways. This Act, Being a Subversion against the People of the State of Texas, has Caused Great Irritation Between The People of the State, The Governor, It‘s Government Bodies and the Several Offices acting in Secret against the People - Even Causing Divisions Between the People against each other.
In resolution; We, the people of Texas, therefore, Demand a Redress of such State Violations against the Peoples Right of Property and the Governors Accountability to the Electorate.

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." Thomas Jefferson

Whereas; When The Union of the Several States, and the State of Texas, Does Find Itself In Such Fiscal Peril & Indebtedness, That It Can Ill Support The Basic Functions That Are Constitutionally Inherent in it, The People’s Expectations Are of Frugal Leadership with Necessary Budget Restraints & A Return to Smaller Government - Not For Government Growth and Excessively Unsound Fiscal Management, Nor The Delegation to States, quasi-government enterprises, or local Officials for Responsibilities of Same, without revenue to Finance such matters of the State. Wherein; Such Actions, by the Union of the Several States, does then Place The Fiscal Management & Budget Policy of any State at Great Risk. Therefore, the Whole of The Union of the Several States & any State Individually, become Depreciated in Value.

Whereas; We find that, War Policy, Domestic Fiscal Affairs and International Financial Conditions are Ripening The Probability of a Recession as Stresses Increase, and as Financial Institutions Fail, or become dysfunctional.

Whereas; Continued Borrowing against future revenue expectations to fund protracted conflicts abroad, and Credit Debits, Can Break The Union, & That Such Devaluation is likely to cause Less Tranquil Domestic Circumstances, Degrade the General Welfare & Our Prosperity, through neglect of Unaffordable Domestic Policy & Affairs in General - which may lead to a Loss of Established Justice and riotous acts. Therefore, Placing at great risk the Blessings of Liberty and Freedom.
We Resolve that; When the Union of the Several States and Individual States, becoming Less Secure in any Obligations being fulfilled, being so Divided, Heavily Leveraged & Void of Sound Decisive Leadership, is not long to Survive. We furthermore, Find The State Body of Governance & Governor, are again, Lax in their Responsibility to the State of Texas & the Union as a Whole; in not Redressing Such Matters Effectively and Strongly.

"Ask Not, What Your Government Can Do For You, But What You Can Do for Your Government". John F. Kennedy

Whereas; When The Elected Representatives of the People No Longer Debate In Good Faith, On Any Issue Before Either House or Senate, or State Legislature, Thereby finding No Consensus of Agreement: The Representatives Are Of No Further Service To The People. When the Nature of Politics so Stifles any Productive Business in the Affairs of Governing to Completion or Decisive Action, The Elected Representatives are of Corrupted Intentions. At which time it is, Within The Peoples Rights & Obligation, to ask for their Recall or Impeachment from Office. However, If The Union of the Several States, & the State of Texas, is to be Preserved & Prosper; Elected Representatives Must Resort to Good Faith Diplomacy that Ensures the Welfare for the Greater Good of The Union of the Several States, versus the Greater Wealth & Benefit of a State, alone. While adhering to the wishes of the People. Not One Founding Father Had In Mind; That a Peoples’ Representative’s Task, or Obligation of Duty, was to Secure, For His Individual State, "the greatest portion of The Single available pie", therefore, pilfering the reserves of the Nation & States. Rather it Is Intended: "That The Greater Good Would Be Sought, for All In The Union As A Whole, that Each Man Being Equal Is due his Equal Share, And each State Likewise". Our Founders Contrived, That By Sacrificing for the survival of the less fortunate, Boston was able to survive the Siege and Occupation, and All Became Stronger and more Dedicated to the Survival of the Union & the Cause of Liberty; having experienced similar circumstances. If Gluttony and Greed took hold in the several communities of the Union, creating with it divisions among the people and their representatives, the Unification of the Several States Would Not Have Been Possible. Nor would the Survival of the Individual States. Self Serving, Gluttonous Individual Representatives, who’s Intention is to Secure The Greater Portions of Revenue Available, for Personal Gain, Individual Recognition, Fame & Not in Good Faith or Service to The Constitution, nor Doing Good Service to their Respective States & it‘s People. Then we see These Elected Representatives Serve their Own Ambitions & Debate to Win a Greater Advantage, Rather Than the Greater Goal of Unity through Diplomacy and Consensus. No Duty nor Obligation is Greater, then The Selfless Service To the Constitution(s) and the Fair, Good Faith Dealings with Peers, for the Preservation of The Union of the Several States or any individual State.

Resolving that: The Affirmation to uphold The Constitution for the Common Goal of Servicing the Greater Good for the People, is a most sacred Trust. Look Not, With Pride and Enthusiasm At Elected Representatives Who Continually ‘Earmark Bills of Congress’, To Bring Home Excessive Pork Spending, but view them with Disdain & Embarrassment that He is Filled with Self Importance and Gluttony & At great Cost of The General Revenues; while Further Bankrupting The Union of the Several States and any individual State, and likewise, Not Tending To the Constitutional Intent of Service & Duty.

Whereas; We the people, therefore, find it self-evident that the General Affairs of the Nation are in Decay, and that the Union and Republic are at Great Risk. Likewise, the People of Texas, Also, Witness Such Similar Conditions in the States Governance; with lax attitudes towards Responsibility & Accountability to the People. Placing the Republic and The State of Texas, both, in Peril of Loss of Civil Liberty, Equality in Justice, Domestic Tranquility, Provisions of the Common Defense, Promotion of the General Welfare, and our Domestic Posterity.

We therefore, further resolve, in unison: That a Call for a return to frugal management of the fiscal budgets of Governments, a significant reduction in the size of Governments, fair and appropriate taxes where required, a reduction in unnecessary and redundant regulatory restriction on markets, abolishment of all monopolies (as they inhibit fair trade and sound market pricing), adherence of States Right versus Federal Rights or Abuses thereof, and the return of all illegally appropriated powers from the states by the Union of the States.
Furthermore; we demand that The Union and State fully restore all Individual Rights and Civil Liberties of the People, that have been infringed upon with the passing of legislation's such as the "Patriot Act", and are not supported by Constitutional Authority. Including, but not limited to, restoration of privacy in communications & restoration of the ’non-federalization of police’ against the people, by restoring police actions to the states and restoration of restraint of the Unions Armies against the citizens.

In final resolution; We would seek to hold Officers of the Governments accountable and responsible for sound governance, effective leadership, fiscal management and high ethical standards in carrying out of their duties under the Constitution(s), and removing those who are ineffective or unethical.
